About me
Dr. Aezam Katooni Zadeh graduated as a physician in Iran in 2000. She completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Leuven in 2010. Later, she pursued and completed her training in General Practice at KU Leuven (2018-2020). In Iran, she worked as a university lecturer, scientific researcher, and physician. Aezam is dedicated to a personalized approach with her patients. She invests time and effort in understanding their needs and serves as a health coach. This role involves not only diagnosing and treating conditions but also providing tailored guidance on health issues, prevention, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. She has a keen interest in internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, and gynecology. Additionally, she performs minor surgical procedures, including suturing and wart treatments. Besides her native Persian, Aezam is fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
